Mary Hull Caballero

Mary Hull Caballero believes that better leadership creates better organizations, and better organizations create better communities.
As an executive coach and organizational consultant, Mary partners with leaders of public-serving organizations to strengthen leadership, improve governance, and enhance organizational performance. She is passionate about helping leaders navigate complexity, lead with confidence, make sound decisions, and remain grounded in their values. Through coaching, she helps leaders build greater self-awareness, resilience, and clarity so they can lead effectively while staying true to what matters most.
Mary's career has been guided by a commitment to civic accountability and the public good. As a newspaper reporter, nonprofit executive, performance auditor, and elected official, she has spent decades helping organizations understand challenges, solve problems, and better serve their communities. The values that have shaped her work—integrity, transparency, fairness, and courage—continue to guide her approach to coaching and consulting.
She brings extensive experience in leadership development, governance, strategic planning, organizational performance, risk management, investigations, and public accountability. Her work has spanned government agencies, nonprofit organizations, boards, executive teams, and community leaders across a wide range of public-serving sectors, including transportation, public safety, courts, elections, public records, regional governance, and public policy.
Mary holds a Master of Public Policy and Management, an undergraduate degree in Communication, and professional certifications in executive coaching and performance auditing. Mary founded ManageWise, LLC, in 2023 and is its principal coach and consultant. ManageWise is certified in Oregon and Washington as a woman-owned, emerging small business.
